About Our Instructors
For 22 years Zsolt Dornay has continuously taught police motorcycle courses, certifying hundreds of riders. Currently retired he spent much of his 27 year career as an instructor. He spent 14 years on the department’s SWAT team and 11 years with the motorcycle unit, training and certifying hundreds of motor-officers He also served as the lead instructor at the state academy (Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission) and for NW Motorcycle School where he trained and certified numerous motorcycle instructors, both police and civilian.
Zsolt was on the development team for the police motorcycle program for the state academy and has designed numerous training courses for police officers at the yearly NAMOA (North American Motorcycle Officers Assn) conferences. During their competition, Zsolt placed as top rider several times. Zsolt, also designed and instructed the curriculum for NW Motorcycle School, which for 11 years has trained police officers and civilians.

Bob Posey has extensive experience as a police motorcycle officer, has worked as a professional development manager and as a police sergeant with special operations as a tactical team commander in Washington State's King County. Bob currently teaches police riding courses at the Northwest Motorcycle School.
Bob has developed unit standard operating procedures; implemented the field training officer program for motor officer recruits; established training standards (basic and in-service) for his department. As a Motorcycle Instructor in the King County Police Department/ Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission he directed/instructed motor officer training, Basic, Advanced and Instructor.

Besides teaching, ROBERT ZIELKE, is a Seattle attorney and previously served as a commissioned law enforcement officer during his college days. He has been teaching with the Northwest Motorcycle School since 2009 and attends track days and other motorcycle training venues to continually improve his riding and teaching skills.
A regular and year-around rider, Robert owns several road and off road motorcycles, and enjoys riding whenever teaching and law practice allow him personal time. As an instructor Robert relishes the opportunity to pass on his knowledge and skill to his students at the NWMCS, so they too can Ride Like a Cop.
As a motorcycle advocate, Robert works with other riders to hold accountable, those drivers who through negligence or reckless intent, fail to act reasonably under the circumstances and cause injury and other untold harms to motorcyclists of all types.
